Yesterday the CITES parties voted to keep the African elephant on Appendix I and did not approve a one-off ivory sale (studies have shown that in recent years, poaching and illegal ivory sales in Africa are on the rise; a one-off ivory sale probably wouldn't have helped). So the CITES parties love elephants....and my hotel does, too. And this elephant really likes my glasses.

Even Doha hotels love elephants
Yesterday the CITES parties voted to keep the African elephant on Appendix I and did not approve a one-off ivory sale (studies have shown that in recent years, poaching and illegal ivory sales in Africa are on the rise; a one-off ivory sale probably wouldn't have helped). So the CITES parties love elephants....and my hotel does, too. And this elephant really likes my glasses.
